seAp Advocacy: Administrative and Research Assistant

Are you looking for further administrative experience?

Do you want to use your administrative and other skills to support seAp in empowering people to “have their say” about the support and services they need?

We need enthusiastic, reliable people to do any of the following:

  • Produce a regular newsletter for our volunteers and supporters
  • Collate information about our publicity, networking, and contacts made
  • Research barriers any particular group in the community finds in accessing health services and advocacy, and collect feedback about our service
  • Update our display boards about Advocacy which we take to events
  • Check the new referrals on our database and contact referrers as necessary for further details and consent forms

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The post is largely home-based – except for meetings, training and catch-ups - the work can also be part-based in our office in Windsor. We need people able to commit half to two days a week for a minimum of six months. Reasonable travel expenses are paid. You would need to have a computer and internet at home or easy access to it elsewhere.

We are looking for enthusiastic capable volunteers to join our team, and especially welcome those who have themselves experienced health or social care services.
