Family Action Young Carers continues to support Young Carers and their families living in RBWM remotely during this challenging time. We are in constant contact with those registered with our service and are ready to respond to their needs if personal circumstances change. If you are aware of a young person who is taking on a caring role at home, you can continue to refer them to our service where we can contact and assess the level of care given and its impact on their wellbeing, and work with the family to establish a suitable plan of support at this difficult time. For more information, or to make a referral, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The government updated its guidance for those who provide unpaid care to friends or family on 8th April 2020, with advice on how to prevent the spread of infection to those receiving close personal care and how to respond if you or your cared for develop symptoms of COVID-19.
