Useful Contact Information for Victims of Domestic Abuse

Dear all,

I know that at the moment things are really unsettled, worrying and distressing for many, both practically and emotionally.

With regards to the victims of domestic abuse that we support and encourage to seek help, work and school may be their safe space so being asked to work from home and not being able to go to school means people will be forced back into difficult and potentially dangerous situations.

If anyone needs support, please remember our local DA services:

  • Berkshire Women’s Aid (BWA) 0118 950 4003 (Bracknell) www.berkshirewomensaid.org.uk
  • The Dash Charity 01753 549865 (RBWM) www.thedashcharity.org.uk - if phone lines are busy, the referral form can be found online.

Victims First operate across the Thames Valley and support victims of crime – www.victims-first.org.uk Please make a referral using their online referral form on the site rather than calling the Victims First Freephone number. Please provide the email address and contact number for the person needing support and a Victims First Officer will contact them within 5 working days (information correct as at 19/03/20).
