Upcoming opportunities in the Thames Valley for young people:

Team programmes in Aylesbury, Slough and Reading

All commencing January 2020, delivered by our partners Adviza. Our Team programme is a 12 week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds, where young people will take part in a team challenge, community project, residential trip and many more activities aimed at building their confidence, team working and employability skills.

Together with Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue, we will be delivering a “Get Started with Emergency service” in Didcot (January 2020). This is a week long programme for young people aged between 16-25 year old, and aims give young people an understanding of the fire and rescue service, as well as learning new skills during mock lifesaving activities.

Together with Readipop we will be delivering a “Get started with Music” in Reading (February 2020). Again, a week long programme for young people aged between 16-25 years old, aiming to give young people an understanding of recording and music productions, whilst working together to design and deliver their own showcase gig at the end of the week.

Development Awards

We would like you to be aware of the Development Awards (DA awards) we are able to offer young people, in order to support them to ‘live, learn, earn’. Development Awards can range from support with transport costs, to tools, uniforms and equipment needed for jobs, to accredited course fees up to Level 3. For further information, please contact:
