Three new exciting job vacancies at Slough CVS

Head of Operations

Salary: £40,000 pa plus 5% pension contribution
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

We have an exciting role of Head of Operations at Slough CVS. We are looking for someone who will take responsibility for the management of all operations, budget management, team performance and individual development for the organisation.

This is a core role for Slough CVS, programme managing all SCVS activities. The main responsibilities are providing effective programme management and oversight of all the projects undertaken by SCVS, with effective reporting and delivery of objectives, ensuring open communication and buy-in on projects from all our partners and ensuring delivery of the organisation’s budget for the benefit of Slough residents.

We are looking for someone with experience of managing a team of employees and volunteers for a minimum of two to three years and reporting at a senior level. Previous experience of writing and winning funding bids is also essential.

This is a diverse role and is key within Slough Council for Voluntary Services. The Administrator will be core to the operation of the charity and its projects, managing a range of administrative responsibilities across the organisation; including financial inputs; maintaining process & procedural records and maintaining and inputting project statistics.

We are looking for someone with a good level of computer literacy including applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) preferably to Intermediate level, good numeracy skills and previous administrative experience.

Wellbeing Prescribing Assistant (maternity cover)

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 subject to experience
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (full time)
Term: Initially 6 months’ maternity cover, with potential to expand to 9 or 12 months
Closing date: 11th February 2019
Interview date: 20th February 2019

The role of Wellbeing Prescribing Assistant will be responsible for delivering a person-centered service, supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing by connecting with services in their community. The assistant will be a vital community recourse, responsible for patient and referral engagement and developing effective working relationships with social and healthcare professionals and third sector providers.
