Salary: £680 pcm
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract Period: 12 months
Holiday: 29 days per annum pro rata (including Bank Holidays)
Must be able to start on Monday 24th September 2018 due to start of apprenticeship training at the BBC.
JOB PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Berkshire Film Officer will be responsible for the administration of the newly formed Berkshire Film Office and will also work on productions & training programmes as a location, production and workshop assistant.
The role requires a confident individual who is able talk on the phone (daily) and answer emails from production companies, freelancers, council staff and student filmmakers. Good Microsoft Office and IT skills needed as the role will require maintaining and updating the website, databases, social media and representing Berkshire Film Office, six councils and Resource Productions.
This is a unique opportunity to learn and develop on a new and exciting project. The role will be working towards Level 3 Broadcast Production Assistant Apprenticeship.
Position based in Slough, Berkshire. Open to non-graduates AND graduates who have studied a non-media subject. Video production, youth/education work and business administration experience advantageous.
