Thames Valley Police & Crime Commissioner: Victims Services

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner recently hosted a short series of events on the re-design of victims' services, held for voluntary and community sector providers and supporting organisations.

Those events and discussions covered the principles of approach and development of a new model for referral and commissioned victims' services, including a Victim's Hub, an emotional support and advocacy service, specialist services, and consideration of victims with complex needs.

The background briefing and updated 'frequently asked questions', can be found on the PCC website; this includes the latest update and powerpoint presentation, including feedback from VCS, from the event held on 8 June: see Victims Services Re-design -

Further updates and information will be uploaded directly to the PCC website over the course of the coming months.  Additional information on current services can be found on the Victims First website: see Victims First -
