Initiative for adults aged over 18 living in Berkshire with a personality disorder

The SUN (Service User Network) is an initiative aimed at improving services for people with personality disorders. It provides community-based, open access, peer support groups to those who may have found it difficult to engage with other services. It aims to help people better manage the difficulties associated with having a personality disorder.

This service is for adults aged 18 and over who live in, and whose GP is located in Berkshire.

The service is being set up to support Service Users in SUN groups to manage their ongoing difficulties through attendance at groups, and to enable them to develop Crisis and Safety Plans to manage risk and safeguarding concerns.

SUN groups take place across the six Berkshire local authorities in community venues. The group programme will comprise support groups, running weekly across Bracknell, Newbury, Wokingham, Slough and Reading, Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead (WAM).

You can join by calling 0300 365 8000 (9-5 Mon-Fri excluding bank holidays).
