We are working to transform some of our local mental health services across parts of East Berkshire. We would like to offer you the opportunity to find out more by attending a virtual event on Thursday 15 October; 1.30-2.30 pm.
The aim of this virtual event is to explain the vision and operational impact of a new pilot 'Mental Health Integrated Community Service' (MHICS), aligned to the LOCC Primary Care Network (PCN). The LOCC PCN covers four GP surgeries across Slough. The vision is to work with and involve a wide range of community stakeholders in the local area including community and voluntary sectors, charities, patient and carer representatives, housing agencies, specialist drug and alcohol services and Slough Borough Council. We feel it is vital that we all understand each other's perspectives and requirements to ensure we can successfully work together.
The event will give you the opportunity to find out more about the service and how it will work, ask any questions you may have, and give you an opportunity to provide valuable feedback about how you envisage your service can support and fit into this work as we work towards the implementation.
Please note that the event will be recorded. If you are unable to join on the day, please email Angela.Childs@berkshire.nhs.uk who will share a link to the recording.
